It is completely forbidden to enter Attari Railway Station, also known as Attari Sham Singh Railway Station, which is situated on the border between India and Pakistan, without a valid passport and visa. It supports the Wagah Border with Pakistan and Attari.

Constructed in 1989, Mata Lal Ji Devi Temple, also known as Lal Devi Mandir, is devoted to Lal Devi, a female saint from the 20th century. In the Pakistani district of Lahore, at Kasoor, Mata Lal Devi ji was born in 1923. A brahmachari who lived off of fruits and milk, a member of the Marwaha Khatri family. She arrived in Amritsar following Partition and reached enlightenment in 1994. The Vaishno Devi Shrine in Jammu and Kashmir is replicated in the Mata Lal Devi Temple.
