Drive to Dharamsala and proceed to the hotel to check in. See St. Johns Church and the Norbulingka Institute, which are both essential
stops for anyone interested in learning about Tibetan cultural legacy while in Dharamsala. If you have time, go to the Dharamsala war memorial to honor the local martyrs. Spend the night at Dharamshala.
Visit Mcleodgunj (6500+ ft asl, 10 km) after breakfast, then travel 3 km to Bhagshunath Temple and the Dalai Lama Monastery. For Tibetan
handicrafts, check out the street market nearby. There are some of the nicest views of the Himalayas in the area in Naddi Area near Cantonment, which is 8 miles from Mcleodgunj. If there is time in the evening,
pilgrims may proceed to Chinmaya Tapovan, an ashram complex founded by the late Swami Chinmayananda, which is located 10 miles from Dharamsala. For those who are fit enough to walk a little, the Kunal Pathri shrine,
a rock shrine to Goddess Kapaleshwari, is located 3 km from Dharamsala. Spend the night in the hotel.
